"4 Dead In Argument Over Oklahoma Fence "

And i think i have trouble and you think you have trouble and we all think that trouble is all we have and i guess it is true, trouble, i find it everywhere i go. Fuck i could be in oklahoma singing about where the winds go sweeping down the plains, and a tornado would touch down and fuck up my hair, right before i was gonna meet the grl of my dreams and then i'd forget the words to the song and i'd forget how happy i had just been because now i look stupid, and the road to my beautiful grlfrds house is now in arizona and i just keep finding trouble. One of these days the trouble is gonna be deadly like getting shot over a fucking fence, but my fence would be some stupid word metaphor that no one would understand anyway, and of course everyone would say, looking at that dead grl, couldnt pick a side of her proverbial fence, she was asking for trouble.
so yeah we argue with trouble like a lover late at night in our beds, we want the trouble gone, but we are addicted to its company, sometimes we kick it out, but when the bed is cold, we whisper for trouble to come home, where it belongs and then we are mad the next morning, hung over from too much trouble.
maybe we should just build a fence between us and trouble, stare at it like an animal in the zoo, wanting to touch it, but knowing it'd bite our hands off, so we just watch fascinated with it, but know its a differnt animal, we werent made to touch trouble, let alone mate with trouble, but we all want to, its sexy, like big cats stalking their prey, we want trouble to hunt us, to pounce on us and tear us limb from limb.
so we lay limbs open, spread akimbo, flesh exposed, blood dripping from our mouths, waiting, waiting till we meet trouble again for that painful, passionate dance of almost death.
trouble a phone call away, trouble a wrong turn too fast, trouble looking in the mirror's glass. we are and always will be our own trouble.
